Claude Carter, 81, passed away January 26, 2015 at UMC Hospital in Jackson.He was born in Glen Allan, Ms but lived majority of his life in Rolling Fork, Ms. He served in the army and was an ordained deacon in First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork,Ms. He was ordained in Rose, La. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Carter and father, Luthur Carter; three brothers Calvin, Charles and Milton Carter; and one Sister Daisy Carter. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Wilda Fay Carter; two children Jerry Carter, and Connie Wagner; four brothers Harvey, John, David and Alan Carter; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Services will be Thursday January 29, 2015 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Rolling Fork,Ms. Burial will be at Mounds Cemetery in Rolling Fork,Ms. Vistation will be at 9:00 am till hour of service at the church Thursday. Rev. Brit Williamsom will be officiating the service under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church building fund in Rolling Fork, Ms.
