Courtney Ezell Mahalitc, 30 years old, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at her home in Grace, Mississippi. A native of Louisiana, she was born on March 1, 1984 to Jeff Parker and Tina Ford. On March 28, 2005, she and Rodney Willingham were blessed with the birth of their child, Skylar Marie Willingham of Yazoo City, Mississippi. Mrs. Mahalitc devoted her life to ensuring the happiness of her child, her family and her friends. She was also one that never went without a smile, a kind word or lending ear for anyone that she met. As a Dental Assistant for South Delta Dental Clinic in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, she took great pride and joy in her work and her patients and loved her job. Loved deeply by all that knew her, Courtney will forever be in our hearts as a loving daughter, sister, wife, friend and mother. Mrs. Mahalitc is survived by her daughter, Skylar Marie Willingham; Rodney Willingham and family; Chris Mahalitc and family; her father, Jeff Parker; her mother, Tina Ford; siblings, Brittney Ford, Brandy Allen, Carmen Nettles, and Mallory King; and numerous friends and loved ones. Mrs. Mahalitc was preceded in death by her grandmother, Peggy Williams of Tallulah, Louisiana. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 15 at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork. The visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.. Interment will follow at Forest memorial Cemetery in Forest, LA. Pallbearers will be Charles Willingham III, Kenneth Willingham, Jonathan King, Paul Muirhead, Allen Woodard, and John Carson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Parker, Rodney Willingham, and Eddie Davis.
