William "Britch" Edwin Patterson

William Edwin ”Britch” Patterson, Jr. 92, Rolling Fork passed away June 10,2017 at Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital. Born in Sharkey County, Ms. lived in Delta, Ms, since 1951. He was a retired farmer and Sharkey County Supervisor. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Anguilla United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Boykin Patterson, son Richard “Pat” Patterson Sr., Sister Phylis Herran, father William E. Patterson, Sr., and his mother Beatrice England Patterson. He is survived by his son William “Bill” E. (Laurie) Patterson, III of Anguilla, Ms., two sisters Doris Mc Intre and Betty Perkins both of Anguilla, Ms., three grandchildren William E. Patterson, IV, Katherine Patterson Jenkins, and Richard Boykin Patterson, Jr., three Great Grandchildren William Jackson Jenkins, Madison Patterson and Maggie Jenkins. Service will be Tuesday June 13, 2017; 11:00am at the Anguilla United Methodist Church Burial will follow at Golden link Cemetery in Anguilla, Ms. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the hour of service at the church. Rev. Tommy Stephenson will be conducting the service under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Memorial can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, Tn. 38101-9908 and also to Anguilla United Methodist Church 631 Front Street Anguilla, Ms. 38721.
