Sonja Sue Patrick

Sonja Sue Patrick peacefully passed away on April 19, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Sonja was born December 21, 1947, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Simon and Lucille Crum.

Sonja married the Love of her life Lester Richard Patrick on July 9, 1965. The couple had 3 children, Verna Crawford (Levi), Richard Patrick, and Sue Patrick.

Sonja was a Certified Nurse Aid for 27 years.

Sonja is preceded in death by her parents Simon and Lucille (Cummings) Crum, her sister Carolyn Payton, and her granddaughter Erika Patrick.

Sonja is survived by her husband, Lester Richard Patrick, her two daughters Verna Crawford and Sue Patrick, one son Richard Patrick, one brother Larry (Janet) Crum, one brother in law James Patrick, granddaughters, Shaunja Patrick and Cierra Patrick, grandsons Alan Patrick, Joshua Patrick, Austin Patrick and Kamren Ellis, great grandchildren, Gabriel Patrick, Kerie Patrick, Kayden Davis, Koby Davis, Khloe Patrick, Ta’Meya Nickson, Kapri Davis, Mielle Nickson, Ariella Ellis, Kailani Ellis, Aden Taylor, Kylie Grace Patrick, Chance Patrick and Braxton Patrick, niece Melissa “Missy” Bertlinger, nephew Gary (Cledis) Payton and one special cousin/sister Eunice “Sissy” Buckley.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Fields officiating the service. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
